Samira Mohsenzadeh graduated with a degree in Visual Arts, majoring in painting, from Tehran Univerity. She immigrated to Australia in 2014 and studied Visual Communication at Queensland College of Art - Griffith University. Her insprirations comes from many sources: poetry, painters, paintings, different kind of forms, colours and music.
When she was at the Univerity of Tehran, Samira became admirer to the italien painter Francesco Clemente -
his way of seeing the world, his inspirations, bountiful patternings and the way his art crosses many borders - intellectual and geographical.
Samira's first series was greatly influenced by him.
Samira usually works with Acrylic because it dries so quickly and so she is able to overlay the colours and achieve a transparency in her work. When Samira first arrived in Australia, she questioned how she could keep her culture in her arts and decided to do so through the use of persion calligraphy and poetry. The paintings "AWAKEN BUTTERFLY", "DROWN OF LOVE" and "THE HIDDEN SEED" combines these art of forms.
In 2016, Samira married and moved to Germany. Since then she has expanded her experiences in Fine Art along with Digital Design.
